Hello tetheredge, thanks for reporting with your crash reports. Please attempt a "clean reinstall", which means you manually remove the files in the Firefox program folder and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:

  1. Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and save the setup file to your computer.
  2. Delete the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
    • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
  3. Execute the setup file you've downloaded earlier.

Afterwards please report back to us...

Hi tetheredge, I am sorry to hear that you are having this problem. I checked your crash ID. We are working very hard on getting this bug fixed. Unfortunately right now the only way to fix this problem is to uninstall and install again. I would recommended getting a fresh download.

Some problems occurs when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;

  • Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version)
  • Remove Firefox from your program's list of trusted or recognized programs, then add it back. For detailed instructions, see

This seems to have worked. I had uninstalled and reinstalled before and that didn't work. Manually deleting the firefox folder before reinstalling seems to have done the trick.
