How can I make the new Australas UI look like this... (with file,edit,view,etc menus and tabs like this...)
Hi, Does someone have a list of steps that will take the new firefox Australas UI to look like this (Firefox ESR 24.7.0 with old menu system, tabs like this, address bar and other icons below the tabs, etc...), and could pictures be included to show how well the add-on customizations worked?
This is what I'd like the customized Australas UI to look like:

Thanks for the link, lots of information, but a few things:
First, it doesn't seem that there is a before and after picture there so I can't tell if CTR will make the changes I am looking for.
Second, do you know if CTR will make Australas look like the picture I uploaded?
Third, at that link they say: "Features not planned to be restored or added to CTR ...
native pre-Fx29 tab appearance on MacOSX"
... does this mean that CTR doesn't work for Mac OSX (Snow leopard to Mavericks?)
Finally, will alternatives to Firefox, like Palemoon, be able to retain the old UI interface and keep integrating the security updates of FF29++ , or does the Australas changes break the code for the old UI?

CTR will change your Firefox to look like pre-29 so basically the orange Firefox button is back among other pre-29 goodness.

I'm certain CTR won't make it look like that exactly as your screenshot has a bunch of add-ons enabled so it would be best to re-install those add-ons then configure it as you see fit. It's also best if you ask any more CTR questions in the support site Ed linked above.

AFAIK, Pale Moon will retain pre-29 elements such as the classic look, tabs on bottom,etc. Also, there was a discussion between several contributors and a developer from Pale Moon a bit back

Since you're wanting to know about PM adopting Australis, NO it won't. Excerpt from that link above Pale Moon will continue, now and in the future, to have a familiar set of controls and efficient, intuitive UI. "Australis", the Firefox 29 new interface, will not be adopted in Pale Moon. Please note that Pale Moon and other Mozilla based browsers are not supported here nor should questions regarding 3rd party Mozilla based browsers be asked/discussed here on SUMO.

If someone can buy me a Mac, I would be happy to test this...
But in all seriousness, the main differences I see between your current screen shot and Australis are:
(1) Australis doesn't have a feature to split the back and forward buttons off the the address box. (2) Australis doesn't have a feature to pull stop and reload out of the address box. (3) Australis toolbar buttons do not have words below icons.
When I looked at it a couple months ago, Classic Theme Restorer had alternate buttons and options to accomplish that.
Bear in mind that CTR may default to what Windows looked like in Firefox 4-28, and you may need to adjust that to your taste and Mac conventions.
