after entering a password, the browser takes me to a different page
In a website that has asked me to enter my user name and password, then click Sign in. When I do this it takes me back to the home page of the website rather than into the back end.
This function works perfectly when I use Explorer

This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.
- check the permissions on the about:permissions page and in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
I have already tried all of those options and still having the same problem. The website responds perfectly when I use IE, which I do not like to use.
