Firefox won't let me go on tumblr, what can I do to make it work?

more options

I had deleted my old firefox, and completely started a new. I have the newest version now. I didn't even transfer any on my stuff like passwords and things from my other browers to firefox. I tried going onto tumblr, and firefox won't let me. This problem loading page keeps happening. On it, it says:

Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to www.tumblr.com. The OCSP response is not yet valid (contains a date in the future). (Error code: sec_error_ocsp_future_response)

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. Alternatively, use the command found in the help menu to report this broken site.

I don't know what I can do to fix this problem? Can anyone help me?

That error message -- "contains a date in the future" -- usually indicates a problem with the date, time, or time zone set in Windows. Could you double-check those?

By the way, why did you delete your old Firefox? Was there a particular problem?

It works today! yay! I checked my date and it was wrong, it was a day off from the real date, maybe that was a problem? I deleted my old firefox because I wanted to try out google chrome, but I didn't like it as much so I went back and got firefox again.

Thanks for reporting back.

You can keep multiple browsers on your computer in case something doesn't work well in one, you can try another. They may bother you with a prompt to make them your default browser whenever you start them up, but there usually is a way to turn that off.
