Can I delete an e-mail account and reinstall it without losing all my old messages, folders, address lists etc?
I can no longer send from email from my account and keep getting the message that the connection to the smtp server was lost or the settings are wrong.
I would like to reinstall the account to make sure that the servers settings are correct, but I fear that I might lose years of messages that I have saved in my folder system as well as my address books, hence the question.
Alternatively, does anyone know how to reset the server settings so that Thunderbird will work with Rogers Yahoo mail?

If your not Removing the Thunderbird try this First Method
- Copy the entire mail and address to local folder and local address
