Firefox for Android's voice input feature lets you speak into the address bar to search instead of using the keyboard.

Search with voice input

  1. Tap the address bar to focus it.
  2. Tap the microphone icon in the address bar.

  3. Say your search terms out loud when prompted.

Quick access to voice input

The microphone icon may be displayed in your toolbar even when the address bar is not focused: Fenix_153_address-bar_mic-displayed

To manage this:

  1. Tap the three-dot android menu icon menu button.

  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Search under the General section.
  4. Tap the switch next to Show voice search.
