This is a recent occurrence and just started with the latest update to Firefox. It's indicating that the page hasn't completely loaded, but Firefox is the only browser on my Mac where this occurs. Very, very annoying!

Until the new update, the circle would stop spinning when the page loaded. Now, it never stops, even after an hour - very irritating. Probably will have to go back to Safari if it doesn't change.
