You are probably best asking at the USPS site. I note mention of Firefox in their FAQs http://faq.usps.com/adaptivedesktop/faq.jsp?ef=USPSFAQ

I would expect them to be able to work with Firefox.

I see mention of Firefox 10 and 11 in the FAQs but that is probably just because they do not update FAQs to match the latest versions of Chrome & Firefox.
