Firefox has suddenly stopped downloading Word, PDF or any files from my e-mails-any solutions please! Eric.
I have had no problem downloading files from e-mails until today. Usually, a window opens giving me the choice of "opening" or "saving". This no longer happens and clicking "save" found under the attachment has no effect. I have done a system restore which removed a toolbar very recently added but no success with downloads. If I use Internet Explorer, they download; but I dislike using it. Help!! Eric.

Yahoo! mail attachments? There are a variety of suggestions but not yet a confirmed solution in this thread: Firefox suddently stopped downloading email attachments.
Tried some of the suggestions posted without success. Have discovered that it's only yahoo mail that FF won't open.
