Firefox will not save my selected option to remember passwords. This is occurring after a new install (6.02) on Windows 7 but importing my profile files from another Windows 7 machine (6.02). (The previous profile successfully saved passwords.) Under Options > Security, I click on "Remember passwords for sites" and close the panel--but whenever I return to this setting, the option is unclicked. This happens within an open session after moving between sites, not just for new sessions. I cleared out all exceptions, and "Permanent browsing history" and "clear history" are definitely unchecked in history management settings. My prior password info is all there and saved in the password manager, I'm just unable to get Firefox to enable using saved passwords or storing my selection to save passwords.
