The special characters in cookie are getting encoded in Mozilla Firefox 4.0 and 5.0 versions

Hello,

I am setting data in cookie as follows String1^String2^String3. But after some point of the time the special character ^ is getting encoded as %5E in Mozilla 4.0 and 5.0 version.

I don't see any problem in Mozilla 3.x version.

That is caused by using encodeURIComponent(): encodeURIComponent("String1^String2^String3");
