I had to do a system restore and when I tried to recover my bookmarks from a cd I couldn't because the bookmarks were saved in json and the bookmark import will accept only html. I never had this problem previously. Can anyone give me insight on correcting this

You can use this to restore a JSON backup:

  • Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Restore > Choose File

Note that restoring a JSON backup will replace all current bookmarks, so make an HTML backup if you need to preserve existing bookmarks and import that backup afterward.
