Can't login with Passkey in Facebook on Firefox for desktop
Hi everyone,
I have a Passkey set up for Facebook in 1Password. When i try to log in to Facebook, I don't get the option to login with a Passkey. On other sites that support Passkeys I have no problems.
When I asked Gemini it told me there is a bug in Firefox causing this. Is that accurate? If so, how long has it been around and will it be fixed.

That sounds like AI hallucination, I don't see any passkey option on FB desktop login per se. If I'm not mistaken they currently only support it for their mobile apps?
I can confirm Passkeys work In Chrome.
Oooh, they're doing something special only for Chrome 🙈 (Didn't see anything in Safari/WebKit)

It is not diagnosed yet in the ticket above, but from Meta accounts site that sounds more like a deliberate limitation from their side: "Supported browsers: Chrome 109 or later, Safari 16 or later, Edge 109 or later." 🤷
