How can I change the ugly purple color on the buttons?
I hate the purple color on the buttons. How do I change it? I am not impressed with Firefox's appearance changes. I don't want to spend hours exploring themes and extensions and add-ons. I just want to change the color on the buttons. I just want black, white, and shades of gray.

Hi
You can change your theme if your type about:addons in the address bar. You can also choose a new theme that you like at https://addons.mozilla.org.
I wasn't clear with my question. I was referring to the purple buttons in the settings menus. Extensions and themes did not deal with this issue. The solution was to type about:config in the address bar, then change NOVA to False. (A layman's explanation of the technical steps.) Thank you.
I do not recommend that you change that setting in about:config as it will be removed in the future.
