how to make the vpn turn on

I’d check a couple things before assuming it’s broken. Firefox’s built-in VPN is still being rolled out, so not every account gets it yet. If the VPN icon is there but Turn on VPN doesn’t do anything, make sure you’re signed into your Mozilla account and Firefox is up to date. You can also type about:config and search for '''browser.ipProtection'''.enabled and make sure it’s set to true, then restart Firefox. That has fixed the button for some people. I’d start there before reinstalling Firefox.
