Hi, if your hard drive has failed, Firefox cannot automatically restore your previous tabs from that computer — session data (like open tabs and windows) is stored locally on the drive that was lost.

If you had a Firefox Account and Sync was enabled before the drive failed, you can still recover your tabs, bookmarks, and history:

1. Install Firefox on your new computer or drive. 2. Sign in with the same Firefox Account. 3. Allow it to sync — your bookmarks, passwords, and some browsing data should reappear. 4. To check for synced tabs: open Menu ▸ History ▸ Synced Tabs.

If you did not have Sync enabled, unfortunately there’s no way to recover open tabs after a hard drive failure. Only local backups (like copied profile folders) could help in that case.

Hope this helps! Sebastian
