My "new tabs" screen is all messed up, on my desktop, but not on my laptop

Okay, we had a power outage while my computer was on. When I rebooted, everything worked but Firefox. The sites would come up, but the keyboard would not work. (It worked on every other program.) So, I "reset Firefox." In that process, it made me add the Webroot extension. Now, my new tabs folder is all wrong. It is full of ads. It does not have my regular new tabs. And when I click on facebook or amazon, it does not take me where I want to go.

How can I sync my laptop new tabs to my desktop?

Or, how can I restore my old new tabs on my desktop?

Hello,

Firefox would never make you add a third-party extension. Try refreshing Firefox before setting up Sync.

Does it help?
