I click the Share Data button, and instead I get a complaint every time, that "We can't automatically get your browser's troubleshooting data, please try these manual steps." I ain't falling for that no more, every time I click that manual steps thing, it blanks out everything I already typed, and when I come back I have to start over!

Anyway, how do I get that complaint to go away, and the details to appear in the Troubleshoot Information box like they ought to?

What Firefox version are you using (special version like Snap or Flatpak)?

You are using Firefox from the Mozilla server?

Did you try to copy (raw) data from the about:support page and paste this in the troubleshooting text area?

I don't know that it's anything special, it's just what installs from Linux Mint's repositories, I guess. The stuff in about:support appears to include my system username in various spots, and I don't like that it isn't more anonymized, would that be shared with the troubleshooting information? Shouldn't that NOT be shared with the troubleshooting information, AT ALL?

Firefox should remove sensitive data after having copied it it. You can paste this data in a text editor to inspect it and possibly remove data that you do not wish to share.

If they'll remove it, fine, I guess. But what do I need to do, and what do you need to know, to get that button on here working properly?
