Thunderbird updated to version 38.5 from version 110???

I woke up this morning and found that Thunderbird updated to version 38.5. I checked with my other colleagues and several of them had the same issue. I tried to update again and it is says Thunderbird is up to date. How do I force Thunderbird to update to the current version?

Also I'm running Windows 11, version 23H2

You it updated from 11.0 (eleven) to 38.5? Automatic updates shouldn't be working on versions that old. And if you really mean 110 (one hundred ten), automatic updates can't downgrade you to version 38.
