Cntl-W sometime closes all Firefox
I need a hotkey to close the current tab. I am using Cntl-W, but sometimes it close a whole browser instead of just a tab. Please fix it!

You can set browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab = false on the about:config page.
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. On the warning page, you can click "Accept the Risk and Continue" to open about:config.

thanks a lot. Tested, but unfortunately the whole browser is still closing instead of just one Tab, event some open tabs left. It is happening 1/10 presses of Ctrl-W
You aren't accidentally pressing the Shift key as "Ctrl+Shift+W" closes the current window ?

As cor-el mentioned, I wonder if Shift key is being pressed by accident.
