drop down user name removal
i need to remove the usernames from a drop down list on a particular website. same problem on microsoft edge, they have a trash-can icon beside each username in the dropdown list, so it's easy to remove each username. what is the equivalent on firefox?

Note that you need to use the cursor Down key to select the name in the drop-down list and press the Delete key (Shift+Delete is for the location bar drop-down list).

Try to select this value, then press Delete or Shift+Del.
Suggestions in a login drop down list that have a key icon in front are login suggestions that you need to remove in the Lockwise Password Manager.
Suggestions without a key icon are part of autocomplete saved form data that you should be able to remove by selecting this item with the cursor Down key and pressing Delete (Mac: Shift+Delete).
Shift + Delete does not work for me. No key icon present in drop-down list box, just the names. No passwords are saved for this site.
