I installed Firefox for Android. Google insidiously asked me if I wanted to enable search suggestions. Once I did, now everything goes through Google instead of Firefox. Including all searches. How do I disable Google search suggestions for Firefox?

  • Open Firefox
  • Tap on the 3 dot menu
  • Tap on settings
  • Tap on search
  • at the bottom of the screen uncheck the "Show search suggestions" option
