Video will not play after Advertisement runs
Videos will not play after the advertisement has successfully run, just hangs there showing Ad one of one in the upper left hand corner of the screen.

Try Firefox Safe Mode to TEST & see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).
If Firefox is open, you can restart in Firefox Safe Mode from the Help menu:
- Click the menu button , click Help and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.
If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Safe Mode as follows:
- On Windows: Hold the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
- On Mac: Hold the option key while starting Firefox.
- On Linux: Quit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox -safe-mode
(you may need to specify the Firefox installation path e.g. /usr/lib/firefox)
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "Start in Safe Mode".
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme, or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps in the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article to find the cause.
To exit Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block (wanted) content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block (wanted) content.

Firefox shows the shield icon at the left end of the location/address bar in case content is blocked by Tracking Protection.
- click the shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection
- check the Web Console for more detail about what content is blocked by Tracking Protection
- "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Web Developer
You can check the Web Console to see if there are messages related to this issue.

The use of safe mode eliminates the issue, not sure how to proceed from here, any help would be appreciated.
I thought the problem had been solved (safe mode, then making changes to settings per link), but I just logged back on and I still have the same problem as originally posted. Any other ideas??

If the issue doesn't appear in Safe mode, that likely means an extension is causing the problem. What extensions do you have installed?

Earlier this morning, ran in safe mode (as instructed), then made changes to performance, unchecked hardware accelerator. This seemed to fix the problem. Then later on today I logged back on and the problem was back. I have not installed any extensions, in fact I do not know what you are talking about, so you will have to further explain.

Hi, you need to make sure that Hardware Acceleration is still turned off. Then follow this section of the other URL I sent : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems#w_disable-all-extensions Please list in a reply what extensions you are using please along with what Security Program you are using.
Please update your graphics card drivers : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration Do not turn Hardware Acceleration on yet.
HTML5 sound comes from above drivers or your sound card drivers which do not know what they are. check in Device Manager and see if there are a update by searching.
You can check for problems with preferences.
- delete possible user.js and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename/remove the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in current Firefox releases

So what site are we talking about that is causing this?
The website is FoxNews.com, but I have seen this error from other sites, but do not recall specifically.
Pkshadow, There are no extensions installed as per the instructions you sent on July 17
Pkshadow, my Intel HD Graphics 4400 card had the latest update, no changes were made.
Now it does not matter if it is in safe mode or not, video will not run once Advertisement finishes.
