I used to login to my xfinity account but due to their changes my password would not update, so I thought that deleting it from the saved file would allow me to renew the login info. This has not happened and the system won't allow me to save the login and password.

Hi, you can try deleting your cache and cookies then try again. Or there are extensions available : Last Pass, Norton, others Password Manger https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/extensions/

I do not want to suggest a refresh if everything else is working fine for other sites.
