Is it possible to select the DuckDuckGo No-AI: search as a Default Search Engine on the Mozilla browser? I have tried and cannot seem to designate this No-AI option as a default. Thank you in advance. The URL is https://noai.duckduckgo.com/

Yes.

Add a custom one: support.mozilla.org/questions/1574867#answer-1810387 and set it as default.

The correct search pattern format is:

   https://noai.duckduckgo.com/search?q=%s

to input in the custom search field in Settings.
