one single tag un-applying itself
Hello! I'm having a problem where a specific tag keeps un-applying itself. I have a number of filters that look for specific words in emails, and tag them accordingly -- all of my other filters are working just fine, but one specific one has decided to stop working. It has exactly the same settings as the other ones, and when I manually run the filter, it correctly applies the right tag.
But, minutes later, the tag will un-apply itself, and I cannot figure out why. For some reason, an older message is staying correctly tagged with that filter, but newer ones un-apply the tag. This same filter and tag used to work just fine. Other tags on emails from the same source work fine, too.

Hello there Roz g
You can use troubleshooting mode to disable certain options and add-ons. You might want to try this to check if the filters are working correctly with the software.
Use https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-mode-thunderbird
Try these troubleshooting steps too. :Repair the folder: Right-click the affected folder, select Properties, and click Repair Folder.
1. This fixes corrupted index files.Check filter order: Filters run from top to bottom.
2. A filter lower on the list might be overwriting or removing the tag applied by the first one.
3. Enable 'Stop processing filters': Add this action to your filter to prevent subsequent filters from modifying the same email.
4. Check IMAP synchronisation: If you use multiple devices, another mail client or the server itself might be syncing and overriding the tag shortly after it is applied.
