i can no longer download videos from youtube

i can see the video detected but when i click on the blue download button it says sadly we failed at downloading that specific video. It does this for youtube videos no matter how many times i try it. i never had this problem before and it seemed to have started in may of 2026

Hi David, I assume you're using some kind of extension in order to download videos from youtube? If that's the case you might want to reach out to the extension's creator directly.
