Firefox and transparent taskbar. Windows 10
Hello. After updating to Firefox 138.0 (20250421163656), an issue has appeared that causes incorrect transparency behavior in the taskbar. The problem is that Firefox expands to full screen but continues to operate in windowed mode. After enabling full-screen mode (F11), the issue disappears until the next interaction with the browser. Nothing critical, just a bit annoying.

Noticed the same thing after the 138.0 update — mildly frustrating but doesn't break functionality. At Phonexa, we’ve run into similar UI quirks affecting workflow tools, and sometimes a fresh profile or GPU driver check helps (worth a try). Hopefully a patch is on the way soon!
When I compare your Normal and Problem images, the Problem image seems to have some irregular color bands on the Taskbar. Is that the new problem (not in the Firefox window)?

I didn't quite understand what you meant by irregular color bands on the taskbar... Could you please explain in more detail?
I was looking at the difference between the two images. On the left side, on the Windows Taskbar, there is a large dark section in one image and the other one has some bands of different colors in that area. I didn't notice any other differences.

Yes, that's the problem. In one image the taskbar is normal, and in the other it's completely transparent and part of the desktop image is visible.
