I just switched from comcast to Verizon Fios and now cannot send emails on Thunderbird but can receive OK. Get error message 'resomta-h1p-027912.sys.comcast.net resomta-h1p-027912.sys.comcast.net'. what am I doing wrong as I have not changed any settings.

This is not an area where I specialize but, for clarity, are you stating that you are using a comcast email account, but are no longer a comcast user?
