When I enter the customize option the bookmark toolbar you no longer have an icon for displaying your bookmarks on the left side of the screen. How can I get and place this icon?

Both Sidebar buttons are gone in Firefox 29 - Bookmarks and History, but they're being "restored" in Firefox 30 with a "combo button".

For the time being you can use { Ctrl + B } to open the Bookmarks sidebar.
