On my phone I copy a image to the clipboard and can't paste and search in the firefox browser. I got search by image extention but it doesn't seem to work at all. I can hit share on the image and share it with Google browser and search but I like firefox more. Help? I also noticed that other extentions like Gemini doesn't work. Help?

Encountered it after the last update. When opening a new tab with a video on YouTube, a message appears that "Adblock plus" and "malwarebytes guard" slow down the browser, while the tab freezes, and even after closing it, it is impossible to open a new tab with a video (empty tabs open). Restarting the browser does not help, only restarting the computer. At the same time, I want to note that I am in Russia, where YouTube is launched only when VPN and similar means of circumventing locks are enabled (I use zapret).

I have Bitdefender SecurePass Installed, enabled and populated but I can't put an icon for it on my toolbar or, apparently, actually activate it in any other way. Bitdefender suggests there is a bug in Firefox causing this. They suggested that setting Firefox to save history should fix it but it didn't. They also suggested that working in incognito mode might be the problem. I have tried turning off incognito mode and this still has not solved my problem.

When I originally set up SecurePass, it worked fine - the logo icon appeared on the toolbar and it activated when required. I then had a problem with getting multiple popups that purported to be warnings from Firefox about viruses and trojans. I eventually had to completely uninstall and then reinstall Firefox in order to get rid of the popups and now I have this problem with being unable to actually use Bitdefender SecurePass.

Is that possible within Firefox for Android (or on PC)? Or do you have other suggestions for that?

Everything squeezed to the left or center of firefox window. Search results are squeezed to the left third of the window leaving the rest of the window blank. Other sites are squeezed to the middle third of the window with blank areas to the left and right. This happened after I added an AI to the sidebar and then removed it.

Firefox installé sur mon MacBookPro M2 Firefox version 152.0.4 (aarch64)

Dans les paramètres « Vie privée et sécurité » je ne trouve pas comme avant une zone « Cookies » activer/désactiver/effacer. Je vous signale que j’ai installé en Extension AdGuard AdBlocker où uBlock Origin

Quand l’un ou l’autre est désactivé la lecture vidéo se fait bien.

C’est l’extension qui est la cause de ce désagrément.

J’ai demandé à Mozilla comment faire pour adapter l’extension pour que - celle ci soit opérationnelle pour le coeur de son objet - et puisse permettre le lecture vidéo dans Orange actualités (c’est pareil pour d’autres vidéos d’ailleurs)

Firefox Mozilla qui me renvoie vers « Github ». J’y vais mais c’est un service vraiment dédié aux pros ! C’est illisible pour un néophyte et même en cherchant bien je n’ai pas trouvé la moindre parcelle de solution.

Alors je vous pose la question simplement Comment paramétrer Firefox 152.0.4 sur un Mac IOS 15.7.7 avec une extension de bloqueur de publicités qui ne bloque pas la lecture vidéo.

I have set up multi-account containers, but when I try to open a Google Workspace email account in a container, I get an error message:

"Google 400. That’s an error.

The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That’s all we know."

I have used this successfully before, but have just got a new Macbook and now it's not working. Thoughts?

I used Pocket for a while. It was excellent since it allowed taking a webpage and converting it to a document that could be copied and pasted to Microsoft word. This allowed further analysis and work on the contents of the page and was extremely useful.

Now that Pocket is gone is there another extension or a purchased extension that does the same thing on the present day Firefox.

I presently use Windows 7 and Windows 10.

Appreciate any suggestions.

I have added the "Firefox Multi-Account Containers." I see the container icon, indicating it is "contained."

I have clicked manage containers and created separate containers like news for instance. I switch between personal, news, shopping and used each supposedly separate container.

But, I see the same history in each, which is not what I expected. Do I need a different Firefox account for each container?

I have found Manage Extensions to be useless. It should 1) show all extensions installed whether turned on or not, and 2) Include a toggle to pin/unpin the extension there, rather than users having to search for this. I don't know how to find installed extensions that are not turned on.

The Help says to use the Gear Icon next to the extension. I don't have a Gear icon. I have 3 dots and there is no way to pin/unpin or to change the order the pinned extension appears on the bar. I don't know how to change the order.

Nice-to-have: an option to put all extensions in one place, down the left side panel, rather than split between top and left panel.

By the way, I went to "Show details" below on this entry screen and the system threw out everything. I had to retype it all.

I absolutely do not want "perplexity" anywhere near my Firefox IOS environment. I don't like it, and further dislike "perplexity" inserting itself to my browser experience. I consider "perplexity" a nuisense and an obstacle to my search habits. I have followed a removal process by logging into my "perplexity" account under Settings, and requesting Delete with no success, "perplexity" remains.

Please share with me how to rid "perplexity" my Firefox browser experience!

I deleted my current 1Password account and established a new account. Every time I have tried to add the new account as an extension, the old account gets added, not the new one.
