Firefox deleted older open tabs on my samsung phoone and my ipad. This was really gutting as these were open for a reason. I was not logged into either instance as I wanted to preserve my privacy as best as possible.

VPN app is successfully running on my laptop, but trying to activate it on my Android phone is always ending up in authentication error. Could somebody pls help, what can I do to have VPN on my phone as well?

So, this is extremely minor, but if the web search widget UI scaled more fluidly, that would really help the cohesiveness of my home screen. It seems to like to snap from a 2-wide to a 4-wide size, but that leaves a gap, as seen in screenshot of the widget failing to scale to the UI resizing box.

Hello everyone, I am noticing a strange visual issue since today on my Android device. There is a persistent thick purple outline around the last active tab in the normal tab overview/tray.

    • • What I have tried so far (none of it worked):**It looks like a keyboard/accessibility selection focus ring that gets stuck on the active tab tray element and ignores the theme engine.

Is anyone else on Android 16 or Version 151 experiencing this UI bug? Any known workarounds to force-disable this outline? Thanks!

Btw. Chrome is working well. No annoying purple outline as shown on the last picture 🤷🏻♀

When I try to browse the webpage still not show anything or loading about 30-50 Second before start loading. Sometimes it get freeze not show anything need to re-enter url.

For years, I've been using FF on desktop (Linux), tablet (Android) and phone (Android - Samsung S24+). Sync has never been a problem until two weeks ago when FF on the phone has either refused to sync when I tapped the command, or hasn't synced for many hours or sometimes days (which is why I tried to do it manually). So, I signed out of my FF account on all 3 devices and then signed back in. The desktop computer and tablet are syncing normally, but the phone still won't sync. When I tap the 3-dot menu on the phone and then my name, it says the phone has NEVER been synced and tapping the sync command does nothing. Under "Choose what to sync", all options are checked, but greyed out. Can't change them, in other words. When I access bookmarks on the phone, it properly shows what was there before the last sync. The phone is running FF version 150.0 Build 2016155439

Ever since the most recent stable Firefox update for Android; 151.0 (Build #2016160831), I noticed that the microphone icon is missing from the search widget.

Now when I tap where the mic is supposed to be in the widget it just opens Firefox without letting me voice type search. Is this a bug, or is it functioning as intended?

My mothers new phone won't load external links and mine does?

I have way more strict security settings and same extensions. She has 2 and I have 13 extensions but they overlap and are not the issue. When someone sends her a link her Firefox does not convert the link like mine does, she gets a link in format https://share.google/ + string of letters, when she opens it, it's a blank page. When I open the same link it converts it from that to a regular link (https://). I have installed Firefox to at least 3 other people and none have this issue. I don't have this issue on desktop either.

If it makes a difference: Out all the people that have this browser on their phone she's the only one that has a new phone with Android 16 (mine is Android 14). They are both up to date on both software and Firefox updates.

From the history on Firefox in Android, I can remove a page from it by clicking on the little cross (cf first image). But this cross disappear when I'm trying to access to a specific page from the search bar... (cf second image). Is there a way I could remove some specific page from the history ?

The reason I'd like to do that is because when I want to access to a website present in the history, Firefox auto-fills by another website from it, which is not the one I'm interested in (and as I won't never go back on this second website, the simple way it to remove it from history !)

When using Bing as the search engine, typing in Chinese returns garbled text and malformed URL suggestions. This also occurs when visiting bing.com directly and typing in Chinese into the search box; however, English input works perfectly fine. Other search engines (such as Google, Baidu, DuckDuckGo) do not have this issue. The problem is specific to Firefox—it does not occur on Chrome. I have tried reinstalling Firefox and clearing all data, but the issue persists. However, it disappears when I use an extension to spoof Firefox's user agent to mimic Chrome。However, extensions cannot be used on the homepage, so this issue is essentially unfixable

I set up a Collection to which I added several news websites. However, when I click on one of the websites, it takes me to the wrong site. Example: I have 5 sites saved: A, B, C, D. and E. When I click on A, it takes me to B. I have deleted the Collection several times and tried adding the same websites back into a new collection, but the same thing happens again. The same problem occurs to another Collection set up for some other websites. Thanks for any assistance!
