when reading an email message, the page down or page up button has stopped working. Can you help with this issue?

when reading an email message, i used to be able to press the page up or down buttons to advance reading the rest of the message. this function suddenly stopped. can you help me to restore this simple little function to reading my messages. Currently, to advance reading the rest of the message, I must use the scroll function (left click of pad on laptop and right finger uses the scroll bar on the far right of the screen. so much easier to just hit one button (page down) and continue reading.

It could be that the page focus is not on the page or message. Try left clicking an empty area of the message. Also check that Caret option is not on. Check out Space Next at the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page.
