You can find the Import menu entry in the Bookmarks Manager (Library)

FireFox 8 Bug -> Bookmarks -> Show All Bookmarks -> Import & Backup -> 'Import from another browser' is not available. same at en-US & he. Win7 32bit.

If that "Import from another browser" entry is grayed then make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode.

To see all History and Cookie settings, choose: Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history

  • Deselect: [ ] "Always use private browsing mode"
