Firefox will not start, not even in safe mode.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the newest version.

I am running Vista.

I know how to use the taks manager to stop the firefox.exe process. I've done that and many other steps. I even turned windows firewall on and my mcafee off, but that didn't work either.

David, thank you for the link, but the important part of my problem is that firefox will not start even in safe mode. All instruction tell how to launch in safemode. I'm already to that point and it still won't start. Ugh....

I'll go read further into it, but so far everything I see if what I've already tried. Wah!
