How do I recover/restore overwritten bookmarks?
One day I was cleaning up my bookmarks toolbar and by accident I somehow deleted a bookmark. Unfortunately, Firefox 3 only backs up bookmarks for the past 5 days. I finally noticed I was missing that bookmark a month or so later. I'm sure by now it's been overwritten. Which brings me to the question: How do I recover/restore overwritten bookmarks?

Make backup copies of the JSON backups in the bookmarkbackups folder or increase the number of backups, but you notice this after a month then you would need to keep a lot of daily backups.
See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Browser.bookmarks.max_backups
If you have accidentally removed bookmarks then use "Organize > Undo" in the bookmarks manager (Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks) to get them back. This only works if you haven't closed Firefox. Otherwise you need to restore a JSON backup.

When I looked for previous versions from my JSON files, there were none available. But when I checked for previous version from my hard drive (C:), there were a couple versions dating as far back as this month. Still, there weren't any JSON files that had a date as far back as January 17th. What I'm looking for is any JSON files earlier than December 16th. Is there anyway to get back my bookmark after it has been overwritten, otherwise deleted?
