It sounds like your browser may have cached a favicon (site icon) incorrectly or a browser extension is injecting it. You can try:

Clear your site cache: Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Clear Data, then reload the page.

Check extensions: Disable any extensions that modify site content or icons and see if the icon disappears.

Try a different browser to see if it’s Firefox-specific.

That should help remove the unwanted site icon. 👍

That “site icon” is likely just the favicon or a shortcut saved by your browser. If you want to remove it, try clearing your browsing data or removing the site from your bookmarks/shortcuts. If it shows on the home screen or app-like view, you may have accidentally added it as a shortcut, so just delete it from there.
