To start up in safe modus for Thunderbird . https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-mode-thunderbird In that mode it is possible to check if there were some no good add ons in that list. It is good to do that startup in that safe troubleshoot modus if some short cuts or add ons ain’t behaving it is a good way to solve with that. Choose for the bad add ons by pressing on them and then choose to delete them. Some keyboard function s that ain’t working there ?I hope that they also are on that list of repair of use with safe modus. Or you might click on some keys on that keyboard that might be blocked somehow. Ctrl+A is ment for short cuts/keys you ve got to unlock these function for it to go further with that typing board.
