
failure to set up mailfence email address in Thunderbird
I just downloaded Thunderbird to a Win10 desktop. Can you please explain why I am having trouble setting up Thunderbird to use my new mailfence.com email address?
I used the following settings and although I get a check mark the settings were found, and the incoming server was established, when I click "Done" the response is a continuous "checking password" and the account is not created and I cannot access email.

smtp.mailfence.com 465 SSL/TLS Normal password Username: *****@mailfence.com

What anti virus do you use? Do you have a VPN? They generally cause complete failure of email.
