Videos start and stop repeatedly on all sites. Could be poor buffering.

When a video is played in any site, it starts and stops repeatedly every three or four seconds. It's driving me nuts. Is there a fix for this, or should I just go back to Chrome?

Have your ISP check your service.

If the problem is bad enough, download the videos and watch them when you want. This is what I did when I had slow service.

If I was going to do that, I might as well return to Chrome. I need the program to work properly. I don't suppose that's too much to ask for. There has to be a way.......

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

My ISP is not the problem. Everything works like it's supposed to in Chrome. The problem exists solely in FireFox. When watching a video the buffering starts and stops, making the video do the same. I'd go back to Chrome, but I've had enough of Google.
