High CPU usage by one firefox process

This one firefox process uses a lot of CPU and my cpu temps get up to 70 C which is the normal temp I get when running a stress test. Ending the process fixes the issue and firefox continues working but its really annoying to have to close it everytime firefox opens and sometimes I forget it only to find out that my cpu has been at 70 C for a few hours. How can I stop it once and for all?
