Help Please! I 've recently upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10 and one of the many annoyances is that I can't "email a link" any longer from Firefox. I have searched the web & followed all the instructions but the "use Gmail" option is simply absent from the dropdown choices in Options/Applications/Mailto Please, please how can I get the "use gmail" option. Many Thanks

I still have the option. Do you get it back if you open gmail in Firefox?

Thanks tjn21, Unfortunately this does not work. I always use Firefox so gmail is always in FF. But I just tried opening it fresh in FF.....no change. See pic attached. Usually I'm slowly to update, but with the Win 10 upgrade I went for latest 87.0. Do you have 87.0 ?

My goof! Sorry "Googlemail" is now Gmail apparently!

I show "Gmail" on Windows 7, Firefox 87 (en-US). I found bug 444395 which says (I'm assuming it still applies): Kev Needham [:kev] Comment 18 • 13 years ago Confirmed that the only locales that require "Google Mail" vs. "Gmail" are de and en-GB. All other locales can use "Gmail".

Your screenshot shows "your browser is being managed by your organisation", so that might be a factor.

Yes, I have FF87 and am showing 'Gmail' in 'mailto'.

Thanks for the feed back, which may help others with the same issue. I'll mark the above as the solution since it explains the problem, "No "Use Gmail" in the mailto options".
