You can set the global zoom setting for web pages in Options/Preferences.

  • Options/Preferences -> General -> Language and Appearance -> Zoom

I don't think this answers my question - the magnification of the web page was caused by changing the CSS in about:config. How would updating the zoom preferences affect that?
