how do I disable url bar suggestions?
Whenever I search using the URL bar at the top, it comes up with suggestions from my history, I hate this and it's only started happening after updating Firefox?? How do I turn it off? I tried to turn it off in about:config and in settings but it's still happening, how do I stop it suggesting history when I use the URL bar to search? On Firefox Android, never used to happen and doesn't happen on my computer

If you open the Firefox for Android menu and select Settings followed by Search, you should see the option at the bottom of the menu.
Hello Seburo, thank you, but I tried this setting and I am still getting suggestions, have tried restarting phone and exiting/reopening Firefox a few times... any other ideas?

I am sorry to hear that. I recommend that you give our new browser Firefox Preview a try as that has more defined search options.
