Few days ago the inbox for one of my addresses was blank. After futzing with it, I was able to bring up the time the email arrived. (The other address's inbox works as it should.) If I double click on the arrival time I get the message. How do I correct this?

The time shows in the Date column for the current day's new mail, but you can have the complete date displayed if desired:
