Ive tried everything and nothing has worked. Ive looked online and a bunch of people are having this same problem. Ive gone to the settings on firefox and deleted bing and changed my default to google and it changes back every time!

Let's keep problem posting of the same subject to one only. We don't need duplicate posting of the same problem. I think the only reason Bing stays would mean you installed a Bing toolbar that maybe why it keeps staying there. Did you look at your control panel to make sure there isn't a Bing software installed?

This could be an issue caused by AdAware or Web Companion from Lavasoft.

You can look for a file named dsengine.js in these locations. You should only find channel-prefs.js in the "defaults\pref" location, any other file found here is suspicious.

You can look for a file named dsengine.cfg in the main Firefox program folder.

Delete the dsengine.js and dsengine.cfg files when present.
