However, you can try disabling it: Type '''about:config''' into the address bar, press Enter, accept the warning, scroll down and look for '''browser.tabs.remote.autostart''' and '''browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2''' If either or both exist, double click on either or both to change 'Value' from True to False, then restart Firefox. If there is no improvement, double click the entries again to change back to True. If that was better, try just reducing the number of processes from the default 4. To do that: In '''about:config''' look for '''dom.ipc.processCount''' and right click > Modify to enter a number lower than 4 (the highest number that works is best) then restart Firefox.
