I opened up Thunderbird and I get a  different screen, asking me to create a different  email account,

the request is from an entity called gandi,net. I don't want it and I can't get rid of the program and I can't access my existing email accounts.

Several users have reported lost profile today. Would you provide the following info? Do you use the program CCleaner? What antivirus are you using? What version Thunderbird are you running?

There have been several reports of this today and the common thread is all use CCleaner software. It updated recently to ver. 5.31.6104 and it had problems. I just heard from one user that Piriform, I guess the software creator, knows there is a problem and issued fix.
