Cannot delete an email account

is this the local folder account? Does it do it in "safe: mode". (Hold the shift key while starting Thunderbird.

Thanks, tried safe mode but the same "not responding" happened. I am trying to remove an IMAP Gmail account I created. I have a POP3 Gmail account that is also active.
