My bookmark star icon doesn't show my already saved bookmarks. My bookmarks still exist at unsorted bookmarks section, just the star icon doesn't read them
Hi. My star bookmark icon doesn't read my bookmarks. I can still use it to save new bookmarks but I can't see the old ones. My bookmarks still exist but the star remains white when I open them and shows them as not saved. Thank you in advance for any help!

Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All of them.
When the star is checking the Bookmarks Manager, it should be checking all entries in the folder. It could be the web page bookmark was removed. Or the wed address was changed. I am not aware of entries to the bookmarks being blocked, unless you have something blocking changes.

Actually I just checked and realized that it doesn't read bookmarks from specific sites. Does that mean it has something to do with cookies? I can re-save those pages but I will just duplicate them at my bookmarks folders.

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder to be sure.
